The first of presumably several pieces of downloadable contend is entitled Dawnguard, and Bethesda has announced that it will be out this summer for the Xbox 360.
If you’re a PC or PS3 player, don’t despair. If Bethesda’s previous ventures into DLC territory are any indication, Dawnguard will make it’s way to your system of choice eventually. Probably within a few weeks of the Xbox release.
While Bethesda hasn’t given any indication of plot or new quests, the term Dawnguard could refer to a museum located in the city of Dawnstar that is dedicated to the Order of the Mythic Dawn. A recent patch included lines within the source code hinting at the inclusion of frost elves and crossbow weapons.
Bethesda has promised that Skyrim’s DLC will feel like expansion packs, so prepare to be spending a fair amount of time with this release once it does hit your system of choice.
