skyrim roriksteadRorikstead is a farming town in the Whiterun Hold named after the noble Rorik. The village claims not to have had a bad harvest in years. There are crops there which the player may harvest. It is also the home of the “horse thief” Lokir – the prisoner who is shot down in the beginning of the game. In addition it is mentioned in the Holdings of Jarl Gjalund, however this seems to be a mistake, as it would make Rorikstead older than Rorik. Rorikstead is also mentioned in the bard’s song “Ragnar the Red” as the town from which the hero rode to Whiterun.
